Year 6 - All Saints Church
On Wednesday 3rd February, Year 6 took the short walk to All Saints Church for an exciting and informative look around this wonderful building. Our guide was none other than the church’s vicar, Reverend Simon Metzner. The focus of our trip was the use of Christian symbolism in worship, which has been our focus in religious education lessons this term. The children were given a fascinating insight into the significance of parts of the church, from the altar to the font. They had the chance to ask Reverend Metzner lots of questions, and they even had an opportunity to ring the church bells!
A big thank you to Reverend Simon Metzner for taking the time to show us around this amazing place of worship!
