Young Writers' Award 2018
Well done to all children who rose to the challenge to write a short story inspired by the theme of ‘Heroes’ for the National Young Writers’ Award 2018. Each class teacher was asked to choose one child whose writing showed particular creativity and originality. Congratulations to the following children, whose entries are now available to read below:

Year 2: Angelina, Izabella, William, Noor
Year 3: Jenson, Tabish Mohammad, Maria
Year 4: Haseefa, Katie-Ann, Georgie
Year 5: Mariam, Mim, Neveah
Year 6: Adam, Yusra, Liwia
As a prize, children will enjoy a trip to the theatre to see either David Walliams’ ‘Awful Auntie’ (Year 3-6) or Michael Rosen’s ‘Chocolate Cake’ (Year 1 & 2). All entries have now been sent off to Explore Learning to be judged by David Walliams himself! Good luck to everyone who entered!
