About Place2Be
Hillbrook Primary School works with Place2Be – a national children’s mental health charity working with pupils, families, and staff in schools. Place2Be aims to provide a safe space for children to explore their emotions or any challenges they may be facing.
Georgia Riley and Heleen Molenaar are our Place2Be School Project Managers and are in school Tuesday to Friday every week. If you would like to get in touch, you can contact them by email at Hillbrook@place2be.org.uk or by calling the School Office.

How Does Place2Be Help?
Children can be supported in a variety of ways:
Place2Talk – Pupils can book an appointment with their Place2Be person to talk, either alone or with friends, about a worry or something they are finding difficult.
One-to-One Counselling – Weekly counselling sessions using talking and creative methods to support pupils who are struggling with their mental wellbeing.
Group work – 8 sessions with a group of 8 children to develop children’s resilience and self-confidence.
Personalised Individual Parent Training (PIPT) – Parent-child support sessions with our Family Practitioner to assist with developing positive parent/child relationships. We also offer Parent Partnership to parents to support them with their child.
Place2Be, our in-school mental health support service, has a variety of resources to help you support your child's wellbeing. Visit their Parenting Smart website for free practical advice on a range of topics (from bullying, to sleep difficulties). If you're looking for more support on your parenting journey, you could also sign up for their free, 4-week Parenting Smart - Online Course. Learn more about both of these offers at www.place2be.org.uk/family or get in touch with Georgia and Heleen at hillbrook@place2be.org.uk .
